Bratt Tree began in 1991 when founder Jon Bratt turned a passion for honest work and healthy trees into a family business rooted in integrity and craftsmanship. His dedication to doing things the right way helped the company grow into a trusted name across Minneapolis and Saint Paul.
In 2017, Jon’s son-in-law, Connor Walsh, stepped forward to carry that vision into a new generation. With the same care and determination, he introduced modern equipment and innovative techniques that made our work safer, faster, and more precise while keeping the heart of the company unchanged.

We had to take down our burr oak in our backyard in South Minneapolis, and the Bratt team were great. Managed the tight spots, mindful of our property, and worked pretty quickly. We were bummed to lose our tree, and the team was really great about saving us some pieces of wood we’ll use in the future both for decorative purposes as well as for firewood. So while we didn’t want this cut to happen, we appreciated Bratt making the removal issue free.

He showed up on time, listened to what I wanted done, made sure we were on the same page, finished the estimate on site. Showed me a number of different options, and explained each one, then made sure I didn’t have any other questions before leaving, and seemed like a really nice guy too.
This was for an estimate on getting a number of trees taken down, haven’t had any work done at this time.
