About Our Legacy of Certified Tree Care in the Twin Cities

About

A Legacy Built on Family & Trust

Bratt Tree began in 1991 when founder Jon Bratt turned a passion for honest work and healthy trees into a family business rooted in integrity and craftsmanship. His dedication to doing things the right way helped the company grow into a trusted name across Minneapolis and Saint Paul.

In 2017, Jon’s son-in-law, Connor Walsh, stepped forward to carry that vision into a new generation. With the same care and determination, he introduced modern equipment and innovative techniques that made our work safer, faster, and more precise while keeping the heart of the company unchanged.

For more than three decades, Bratt Tree has remained a proud family-owned business built on relationships, reliability, and respect. Each project reflects the same promise that started it all: to treat every property with care, to deliver every service with honesty, and to protect every tree with pride.

Bratt Tree’s team is made up of ISA-certified arborists who combine hands-on skill with continuous education in advanced tree care. Their expertise guides everything we do, from safe large tree removal to detailed pruning and precise plant healthcare treatments. Our ISA-certified arborists take pride in delivering tree care that meets the highest standards of safety and craftsmanship. Each service, including pruning, soil care, and storm cleanup, is completed with precision and respect for your property. Clients often mention how clean their yards look and how healthy their trees appear after our work. At Bratt Tree, satisfaction is not an extra promise; it is the result of doing every job with honesty, care, and attention to detail.

What Our Clients Say

Dave was very knowledgeable about our old maple tree and other options for future shade trees. He put together the quote for the trimming and a root stimulating treatment. Pleasant to work with.

Patrick arrived when he said he would and was very professional. Did a thorough evaluation of our project and provided us with a transparent quote. We have decided to hire them for a tree removal/stump grinding over the winter. I had made a post on FB asking for recommendations; they had the most and we are happy to hire them!

3rd time we've hired Bratt. They are professional, quick, fairly priced. Do a good job of cleaning up the worksite afterward, too.

The guys just finished up here and did a SUPER PRO job, removing a sad maple tree quickly and leaving very few traces of the work they’d done, aside from sawdust. The crew addressed our requests respectfully and offered helpful advice about other trees on our property. We received three quotes for this work and I think Bratt wound up delivering the best value for the price, especially considering that one of the quotes was almost $1k more.

I would hire Bratt Tree again in a heartbeat! Thanks guys!
