Bratt Tree began in 1991 when founder Jon Bratt turned a passion for honest work and healthy trees into a family business rooted in integrity and craftsmanship. His dedication to doing things the right way helped the company grow into a trusted name across Minneapolis and Saint Paul.
In 2017, Jon’s son-in-law, Connor Walsh, stepped forward to carry that vision into a new generation. With the same care and determination, he introduced modern equipment and innovative techniques that made our work safer, faster, and more precise while keeping the heart of the company unchanged.

Working with Bratt Tree was a great experience from the initial meeting with Ian Freeburg and communication with the office to everyone on the job site the days our trees were removed. We had a difficult inaccessible sloped site to work on and Sean-Paul, Trevor, Francisco and the rest of the crew did excellent work. They were efficient and professional. The whole crew was kind and communicated so well with me and with each other, were really careful to protect the yard, sidewalks and slope, and kept the site super clean. They take pride in their work down to the small details. Well done everyone!

Bratt provided an informative and fair estimate for tree trimming triage. Their crew was friendly and thorough. They used utmost care to remove an overgrowth of heavy branches from an old massive Oak spanning several lots, while navigating congested roofs, landscaping, patio furniture, and a web of powerlines and string lights. They discovered my second tree didn’t need maintenance, which saved more money. Despite my usual dread due to cost and hassle, the fantastic people and great work made tree trimming a pleasant experience. Thank you!

Bratt Tree is very affordable, independent workers, and great quality of tree trimming work. I had 3 trees trimmed for health and to cut them back from power lines and all three are looking really excellent now! All three had a growth hormone treatment last summer and are now much more manageable for our yard. In the past we had a huge problematic multi trunk tree removed and the stump ground, and that work was also done well and with excellent results. We trust and hire Bratt Tree for all our tree trimming and management needs. Highly recommended!
