We just had Dave from Bratt Tree come to evaluate our dying tree. He came up with a solution to prolong it's life safely. We were very impressed with his professionalism.

I have four mature trees that needed pruning because some branches were rubbing against the house and garage, and the trees had become generally overgrown.
The Bratt Tree Service crew arrived on time and explained what they planned to cut, what they would leave, and why. They worked carefully and deliberately, and when they were finished, they walked me through what they had done while going over the bill.
I asked if they could remove a couple of additional branches, and they took care of those as well.
I was very pleased with the work and highly recommend Bratt Tree Service.

Excellent experience with TJ Carlson at Bratt Tree — this is the second time he's been out to our property, and he's been outstanding both times. The first visit was for an estimate on a massive dead Burr Oak (about 52 feet tall with a 58-foot crown, likely 150+ years old). TJ inspected it thoroughly and walked us through every option for the removal in detail, nothing felt rushed or glossed over. Most recently, we had him back out for a tree in our front yard that also needs to come down, and he was just as thorough — full inspection, clear explanation of the process and options. TJ is knowledgeable, patient, and clearly takes pride in doing the job right. Highly recommend him and Bratt Tree.

Since I lived in the local area of Crystal they were able to give me a good price well under what other companies quoted for more services.

Everything went well except for one thing. The ferns behind the garage got pretty decimated but it was a small area they erected working in ferns grow pretty rampantly so I’m not worried about it.

The arborist Hayden was extremely knowledgeable and personable. She discussed our trees and addressed our concerns in a very clear and understandable fashion. We have not yet decided on the service or price yet or had any service provided beyond the initial meeting with the arborist so cannot comment on any other aspects of the service.

Bratt Tree removed a small, dead tree from my front yard. They showed up on time, cut the tree down and removed all of the debris. They worked in the pouring rain, and still made sure the job was done right!
John Carpenter, of Bratt Tree, came a few days later to grind out the stump. He did an excellent job. The stump is gone, and he cleaned up all of the debris.

I can't give this company high enough scores for their incredible communication and professionalism. After calling another company and leaving several messages that were never returned, I called Bratt who scheduled my appointment within 2 weeks, arrived on time to provide the estimate and again to do the work requested. The crew lead was great at listening to what we wanted and delivered a job well done and a yard clean of debris upon completion. We have been working with a lot of different contractors lately, and I wish they were half as great as Bratt.

I have used Bratt Tree for about 5 years. Ian (the arborist) is well informed, explains things clearly, and does not oversell. Pruning is usually best done in winter when the tree is dormant to prevent diseases. (The exceptions are diseased or unstable, or dangerous trees.) Bratt offers a off-season winter discount that can be set up with the free summer consultation. Their climbing crew is properly equipped and experienced to work safely.

Bratt Tree was fantastic to work with start to finish. We had a half-dead ash that needed to be removed as well as a maple next to our roof that needed trimming to be safer in a storm. Hayden was great to work with and was super thorough and detailed about what needed to be done and any considerations we should have. Beyond that, Hayden even went above and beyond to provide us guidance on longer term care for some of our other trees. The estimate and scope of work was highly detailed so we knew exactly what would be done. The crew that came out to do the work was prompt and thorough - we didn’t even need to be present for their work. Another crew came out a week later to grind the stump of the ash tree, and both crews made sure they cleaned up all debris and chips like they were never there. Bratt Tree did great work for us and we’ll use them in the future for more tree needs - you should too!

Ian was the arborist who looked at two of my ash trees and was honest about what work should be done on them. He also recommended a few things for my river birch tree to make sure it stays healthy.

Amazing from start to finish. We got lots of quotes for the removal of two trees at our home, both over 30 feet. Bratt Tree had very reasonable pricing in comparison to all the quotes. Jacob was quick to respond and consistent with follow-up without being aggressive. When we were ready to move forward, the paperwork was clear and easy and we were able to schedule our tree removal with only a little wait. On the day of the removal, the team texted when they were on their way and showed up on time and the job was done quickly. They cleaned up extremely thoroughly as well. 100% would recommend again and again.

They were very professional and smooth. They did a great job cutting down a very difficult tree in a very small area. They had the whole thing removed and cleaned up in a few hours.
I did notice a small amount of compression damage on my driveway but when I pointed it out they very quickly took ownership and paid for the repair.
I will gladly do business with them in the future if I need to!

Bratt Tree removed a small, dead tree from my front yard. They showed up on time, cut the tree down and removed all of the debris. The worked in the pouring rain, and still made sure the job was done right!

A Bratt Tree arborist identified a treatable disease on one of my fir trees. Over the course of 3 treatments, a technician came out and sprayed the treatment on the tree. No hassle; they notified me they were coming, though I didn’t need to be home, and did the work.

Bratt Tree came out to give us an estimate on pest control for the silver maple in our front yard. The technician Jake was professional and knowledgeable. He was also very patient answering tree questions from my curious kids.

Dave came out to look at our yard and provide an estimate for tree trimming and removal of some overgrown areas in our yard. He was extremely knowledgeable, gave great recommendations, and presented several options, breaking down their pricing in an easy to understand format. His professionalism helped seal the deal for me. Excited to have them spruce up our trees and yard, and help connect us with a resource for planting a new tree! Very positive experience!
