This is a great company! They require a $600 minimum job, so they might not be a good fit if you’re looking for a smaller project. It cost $300 for a fairly large tree trimming over my roof, and $300 total to cut down 3 trees which were about 4-5 inches thick. The stump removal costs $150 per stump which I opted out of since the trees were small. They cut them very close to the ground, only a couple inches remaining, which was nice. Patrick provided a thorough free estimate and didn’t try to upsell me on anything- I very much appreciated his honesty since I was on a budget. Francisco & Andrew did an excellent and efficient job of taking down my 3 trees and trimming another tree. It was exactly what I wanted and I’m super happy with the results.

Francisco did a great job removing my 40 foot tall 31 inch diameter Oak tree. He was a real artist using the truck crain to pick up the pieces and place them into the removal truck. He was very dextrous with the pick up claw, gathering the debris off the pavement with ease. The job only took a few hours and they left the area clean.

Bratt Tree did a good job for me. They worked with me to leave medium sized logs behind for firewood and ground stumps. They did have to come back to grind the stumps lower but didn’t make a fuss about it and the 2nd time the grinder made sure and got everything.

The total job was awesome! Everyone did a great job both in taking down the tree and removing the stump. They arrived on time. Left my property clean. I have a large Norwegian Maple and it developed a crack in it. I was told over a year ago it needed to come down. This year I started shopping around for businesses that could cut it down and Bratt Tree was the 6th company to come out. Hayden was awesome! She was the first person out of everyone who told me my tree does not need to come down and that it just needs a little bit of help. Hayden gave me 3 or 4 package plans and I chose to do a fertilization and later in the year will do some clearance pruning. I cannot say enough times how happy I am that I get to keep my tree! I contacted a few arborists for an estimate on pruning the trees in my yard. Bratt Tree Service arborist, Patrick, took the time to explain what is going on with my trees and what my options are for caring for them. He worked with me on a budget, explained what services would be beneficial if done sooner rather than later, and what can be deferred for later in the season. He answered all of my questions, and even gave me some advice about some apple trees I was planning to add to my backyard. I really appreciated the personalized service. The crews working on our tree removal did the work carefully and did not damage the surrounding areas (house, yard, and other obstacles). The scheduling department was easy to work with also.

Service was great. Our arborist Clayton was really good and Nate and crew that did the tree removal and grinding were awesome. They were quick and left everything clean. Wouldn’t even know a tree was there before.

Terrific experience working with Bratt, from the first call to the consultation with Ian, to ongoing communication with Ian about services to be performed (changing the plan), and then Andrew and his teammate showing up to take care of my big oak. I have been delighted with the service.

We had to take down our burr oak in our backyard in South Minneapolis, and the Bratt team were great. Managed the tight spots, mindful of our property, and worked pretty quickly. We were bummed to lose our tree, and the team was really great about saving us some pieces of wood we’ll use in the future both for decorative purposes as well as for firewood. So while we didn’t want this cut to happen, we appreciated Bratt making the removal issue free.

He showed up on time, listened to what I wanted done, made sure we were on the same page, finished the estimate on site. Showed me a number of different options, and explained each one, then made sure I didn’t have any other questions before leaving, and seemed like a really nice guy too. This was for an estimate on getting a number of trees taken down, haven’t had any work done at this time.

This visit was part 3, which was applying slow growth stuff to my tree so that my river birch won't need pruning as often. I got a text saying the technician would be here in 12 minutes. He checked in with me at the front door, asked if I had any questions, and then went to work applying the stuff. Visit took about 30 - 45 mins. Happy customer and happy tree.

Easy to deal with from start to finish. Gave us a range of options for the extent of work we wanted done and executed the option we chose very well. Dissuaded us from work they thought would not be worth it. Pricing seemed right. The trees look much better and are now not menacing any roof. I recommend Bratt and would use them again.

I had a good experience with Bratt. They were on time, reasonable priced and the work was good. The only thing I would recommend is ditching the A.I. phone assistant. It was annoying and made communication more difficult that in had to be.

Taylor and crew did a great job of removing a large pine tree from our yard. They had to work in tight quarters because there was a power line on one side and and four other trees surrounding the pine. They did a very professional job. I recommend them highly.

Bratt Tree did a five star job. Great professional crew, my oak trees look amazing, and they cleaned up beautifully, even though we just got a foot and a half of snow yesterday. If you have trees and need an honest tree company to take care of your trees these are your guys. They are coming back in a couple months to treat my oaks which will help prevent against disease and oak borer which is a big problem in my neighborhood. Oh, and I forgot to mention that they gave me the best price in town. Bratt tree equals healthy trees.

She did an excellent job explained all of a different options how and when the work would begin what would be done with the advantages and disadvantages of different ideas . Working with Bratt Tree was a great experience from the initial meeting with Ian Freeburg and communication with the office to everyone on the job site the days our trees were removed. We had a difficult inaccessible sloped site to work on and Sean-Paul, Trevor, Francisco and the rest of the crew did excellent work. They were efficient and professional. The whole crew was kind and communicated so well with me and with each other, were really careful to protect the yard, sidewalks and slope, and kept the site super clean. Bratt provided an informative and fair estimate for tree trimming triage. Their crew was friendly and thorough. They used utmost care to remove an overgrowth of heavy branches from an old massive Oak spanning several lots, while navigating congested roofs, landscaping, patio furniture, and a web of powerlines and string lights. They discovered my second tree didn’t need maintenance, which saved more money.
