About Our Legacy of Certified Tree Care in the Twin Cities
About
A Legacy Built on Family & Trust
Bratt Tree began in 1991 when founder Jon Bratt turned a passion for honest work and healthy trees into a family business rooted in integrity and craftsmanship. His dedication to doing things the right way helped the company grow into a trusted name across Minneapolis and Saint Paul.
In 2017, Jon’s son-in-law, Connor Walsh, stepped forward to carry that vision into a new generation. With the same care and determination, he introduced modern equipment and innovative techniques that made our work safer, faster, and more precise while keeping the heart of the company unchanged.
For more than three decades, Bratt Tree has remained a proud family-owned business built on relationships, reliability, and respect. Each project reflects the same promise that started it all: to treat every property with care, to deliver every service with honesty, and to protect every tree with pride.
What Sets Us Apart
The Bratt Tree Difference
Trained Technicians
Bratt Tree’s team is made up of ISA-certified arborists who combine hands-on skill with continuous education in advanced tree care. Their expertise guides everything we do, from safe large tree removal to detailed pruning and precise plant healthcare treatments. On a recent project in Cottage Grove, our arborists restored several declining oaks with customized care plans that encouraged new growth and long-term strength.
Satisfaction Guaranteed
Our ISA-certified arborists take pride in delivering tree care that meets the highest standards of safety and craftsmanship. Each service, including pruning, soil care, and storm cleanup, is completed with precision and respect for your property. Clients often mention how clean their yards look and how healthy their trees appear after our work. At Bratt Tree, satisfaction is not an extra promise; it is the result of doing every job with honesty, care, and attention to detail.
Upfront Pricing
Trust begins with transparency. Before any tree removal, pruning, or plant healthcare service begins, our arborists walk you through each step so you understand the process and what your property needs. Every estimate is clear, detailed, and tailored to your landscape. Clients value the honesty in our approach and the peace of mind that comes with knowing exactly what is included. At Bratt Tree, transparency is part of our commitment to reliable service and lasting relationships.

This was just a meet up for an estimate. Ian was great to work with. He was on time and knowledgeable about our tree removal. We will be moving forward with Bratt. Their price was lower than 2 competitors which was an added bonus.

I am amazed at the talent - yes, talent - it takes to remove these damaged limbs from such precarious heights. This is work I could never do. Fantastic work, gentlemen!
