How do you handle the removal of a tree that is located in a hard-to-reach area of my yard?

Our team uses advanced rigging techniques and high-reach cranes to lift tree sections safely over fences, landscaping, or structures. This "low-impact" method allows us to remove large trees from tight spaces without bringing heavy, turf-damaging equipment deep into your lawn.

What is the benefit of cabling and bracing over simply removing a leaning tree?

Cabling and bracing are structural support systems that use flexible steel cables or rigid rods to reduce the physical stress on a tree with weak branch attachments or split trunks. This proactive approach can extend the life of a high-value or sentimental tree by decades while significantly reducing the risk of failure during a storm.

Will my lawn be left with ruts or damage after a major tree project?

We prioritize property protection by using specialized ground mats to distribute the weight of our vehicles and equipment. By avoiding the direct movement of heavy machinery on soft turf, we ensure your grass and soil remain undisturbed even during extensive removals or pruning.

How do you determine if a tree is just "unwell" or if it needs to be completely removed?

Our ISA-certified arborists perform a comprehensive assessment of the tree’s canopy, trunk integrity, and root flare to identify signs of decay or internal rot. If the structural health is sound, we will recommend a plant healthcare plan or strategic pruning; however, if the tree poses a liability to people or property, we will provide a safe removal plan.

We were very sorry to see this tree go, but were very grateful to the team for taking such care in its removal. They left us some beautiful keepsakes when we asked, were prompt, and were cautious not to harm the animals that were being evicted. Thank you!

I had a good experience with Andrew Linn and his crew today. My white paper birch tree is in a tight spot in my back-yard, and they were able to carefully prune the tree as well as install a cable between large branches. The crew even removed a few more branches for me after the work was completed. I will use Bratt Tree again.

A Bratt Tree arborist identified a treatable disease on one of my fir trees. Over the course of 3 treatments, a technician came out and sprayed the treatment on the tree. No hassle; they notified me they were coming, though I didn’t need to be home, and did the work.

Friendly, professional, and the best estimate we got"

Hayden from Bratt Tree Service came out today to look at our large silver maple, which has lost two big branches over the past couple of years. We wanted to know what it would take to preserve the tree and what removal would cost. Hayden was friendly and professional, walked us through our options, and even brought treats for our dogs.

We got several estimates, and Bratt's was the quickest to arrive, offered the most options, and came in lower than the others. They also offered discounts for scheduling the work outside the summer season. Highly recommend, and we'll update this review once the work is done.
